The Imagination University Programme is pleased to announce that on 21st April, Darren McKie (University of Hull) will be running an in-person workshop about Mobile Graphics. Darren is an experienced lecturer in graphics and games programming and is the author of Imagination’s course “Introduction to Mobile Graphics, 2020 Edition” [Training and Teaching Resources - Imagination University Programme (imgtec.com)].

Target Audience
Teachers in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering and Electronic Engineering. Lab Managers may also find it useful, as will post-grad Students who may become Teaching Assistants.

What you will learn
This one-day workshop is a short version of the semester-long “Introduction to Mobile Graphics” course, which is aimed at lecturers with little knowledge of the subject. The workshop will consist of sample lectures and practical work from the course to encourage and show how attendees could bring the course into their own curricula.
- How to use our course to introduce the key concepts around Mobile Graphics and gain familiarity with using industry-standard development tools.
- Find out the most cost-effective and readily accessible software and hardware platforms for teaching mobile graphics.
