Vscode platformio not working properly

Hi,

 

I am trying to follow the tutorial "RVfpga_GettingStartedGuide" in 2.0 version.

In section 7 "simulation in verilator", after compiled the verilatorsim binary file and changed platformio.ini, my vscode runs "platformio: loading tasks" forever.

I have tried delete ~/.platformio folder, it didn't work.

 

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Hi,

 

I changed the vscode version from 1.64 to 1.63.2 and also changed the platformio from 2.4.1 to 2.3.3. And it works.

Hi @waxapple,

It's great news hearing that you've resolved your problem. We had never found this problem, so we'll investigate if there is any incompatibility with any vscode/platformio versions, starting with the ones that you've found problems with.
